Dassey identified Exhibit 58 as the jeans he wore on October 31 and said he noticed bleach stains on them later and washed them that night. Fassbender testified that Dassey showed investigators the jeans on February 27, 2006, and that the stains remained visible. On cross-examination, Fassbender said there was no blood on the jeans and that laundering would greatly reduce the ability to detect it.
