Toyota key
Lenk testified that he first saw the key on the bedroom floor after Colborn moved a cabinet; he did not describe seeing it fall. Culhane testified that the key turned the RAV4 ignition and unlocked a door, and that DNA from a swab of the key was consistent with Steven Avery's reference profile. At Avery's trial, the court received the key as Exhibit 211 despite the defense's stated substantive contest.
