Steven Avery's residence at 12932 Avery Road
Investigators searched Steven Avery’s trailer at 12932 Avery Road. John Ertl testified that he found bloodstains there but no bloodstain pattern, and a Toyota key was identified in court as having been found in the residence. Bobby Dassey testified that he saw Halbach walk toward the trailer; the State alleged she was restrained and assaulted inside, while Avery’s defense challenged the inference that she entered or was confined there.
